My Therapeutic Approach

My approach to hypnotherapy is client-centered and solution-focused. I believe that you already have the resources within you to create positive change—my role is to help you access those resources through hypnosis.

I combine traditional psychotherapy knowledge with advanced hypnotherapy techniques to help you achieve lasting change and personal growth. With over 40 years as a licensed psychotherapist and 20 years practicing hypnotherapy, I’ve developed an approach that addresses both the conscious and subconscious aspects of your challenges.

Each session is tailored to your specific needs and goals. I use various hypnotic techniques including direct suggestion, regression (when appropriate), parts therapy, and visualization to help you achieve lasting results.

I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can explore your subconscious mind and make the changes you desire. My clients describe my voice as calming and my presence as supportive throughout the hypnotherapy process.

I honor your spiritual beliefs and can incorporate them into our work together if desired. Past life regression can be approached from either a spiritual or metaphorical perspective.

While honoring the intuitive aspects of healing, I stay informed about the latest research in neuroscience, psychology, and hypnotherapy to provide effective, evidence-based treatment.

Meet Lacey

For clients who prefer sessions without Lacey or for those participating in virtual sessions, she will happily relax in another room. Your comfort is always my priority.

Initial Consultation
We begin with a thorough discussion of your goals, history, and what you hope to achieve. This helps me create a personalized approach for your specific needs. I'll answer any questions you have about hypnotherapy and explain how the process works.
Creating a Safe Space
I prioritize creating an environment where you feel completely safe and comfortable. For in-person sessions, you'll be seated in a comfortable recliner. For virtual sessions, I'll guide you in setting up your space for optimal relaxation.
Guided Hypnotic Induction
I'll guide you into a relaxed, focused state of hypnosis where your mind becomes more receptive to positive suggestions and change. My voice will remain calm and soothing throughout the process.
Therapeutic Work
Depending on your goals, we might explore past memories, create positive suggestions for change, or work with different parts of your subconscious mind. You remain aware and in control throughout the process.
Integration and Empowerment
Before bringing you back to full awareness, I provide post-hypnotic suggestions that continue to work after the session. I'll also teach you self-hypnosis techniques you can use at home to reinforce our work together.
Follow-Up Support
I'm available for questions between sessions and will provide resources to support your journey. We'll discuss your experience and plan for any future sessions based on your progress and goals.
